Learn more and sign up today! www.pgajrleague.com    We are asking all of you to consider getting your kids involved in the PGA Jr League this year. I coached PGA Junior Camp when my kids started back in 2015. My favorite part of the league matches is that parents and family get to walk around the course while their kids play. A unique opportunity compared to other sports.    There are some really good junior golfers and some players who are less experienced. The league matches are a good experience and fun. After the league matches, there are local, regional and national playoff matches. This is where the more competitive kids can show their talent. The league is managed nationally by the PGA and had 37,000 participants in 2020 and HAS MORE THAN DOUBLED IN 2025!!     For us - we want to have as many kids as possible to form an Echo Falls League. We need (8) eight or (16) sixteen players - 17u kids – and everyone gets into the All-Star match in August.   We need (24) players - 13u kids - and we can send up to 16 kids to 2 different All-Star regionals.    PGA Jr League is for all skill levels. Some on-course experience is preferred. The team events and practices are not mandatory - so if you want to play but know you cannot make all events - we still want you!    The required age is 8 to 17 years old.  If your child is slightly older or slightly younger - please contact   Greg Morris - gregm@echofallsgolf.com or Oliver Hueter - oliverh@echofallsgolf.com.

To get ready for our season, we will cover the basics of the golf swing and work on the format of play (team scramble). We will be practicing on Thursday's beginning June 4. Practices will begin at 5:00pm and run 1 hour. Matches will be played on Sunday's beginning at 2:30pm. Our first match will be June 14.

PGA Junior League is a fun, team-based way for kids ages 9–17 to learn and play golf in a supportive environment. Players compete in a scramble format that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence, all while learning the fundamentals of the game. Our teams are coached by PGA Professionals who provide instruction throughout the season, both in practice and during matches. No prior tournament experience is required. This league is designed to be welcoming for new players while still helping returning juniors continue to improve. At the beginning of the first practice, there will be a meeting for parents and players to walk through how the league works, expectations, schedules, and to answer any questions before the season begins. 2026 Canterwood PGA Jr. League Summer

Summer PGA Junior League at Canterwood Golf and Country Club(June 10th - August 19) Join the fun this spring with PGA Jr. League! Open to young golfers of all skill levels, this team-based program focuses on learning the game through friendly competition, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Players will build skills, gain confidence, and enjoy matches in a supportive, encouraging environment—all while having fun on the course. We will have Practice on Wednesdays at 4:30pm and Matches throughout the semester with Fircrest, Tacoma, wingpoint and Gig Harbor Country Club. The matches will consist of 2 player teams playing a 9 hole match against another team from a different club. This program is great for introducing kids to a little competion while still having our main focus be fun and safety!
