Just played over memorial day weekend and had a great day. Friendly staff and greens are in great shape. New carts and GPS system an added bonus.

now the course has new ownership and is in very good shape. with a new chipping green and a redone practice range. Also the new indoor renovations to the dinning area. I recommend to all average players.

STAY AWAY ! This course is a waste of your money! The dining room is tacky. Holes in the walls, torn wallpaper poor service! The food is acceptable, while not what is expected from a "golf club". YOU are ignored in the pro shop once they take your money. No one has any answers about course condition, banquets, merchandise.. you name it. They are over their head on this one.. for the 2nd year running.

The course is less than adequate. The course supervisor is never on the the course. The groundsmen are doing a good enough job, but without the expertise of a solid course superintendent, this course is sure to fail once the spring rains are over. There is obviously no maintenance anywhere - everything is needs repaired or is broken.. poor excuse for a "GOLF CLUB".

I have played this course a few times and must say it is no different from last year. POOR SERVICE, POOR COURSE, POOR ORGANIZATION equal - DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Pittsburgh National used to be my favorite course (when it was called Deer Run), but apparently there were some issues and the course condition deteriorated. However, I just played there recently, and the course is definitely improving...the greens are in decent condition and the fairways are much better than the last time I played there (I believe the course is under new ownership). I also had lunch after my round, and the food and service were both very good. I hope the positive trend continues with the new management and I look forward to playing there next season.
