Australian Jason Day calls Columbus, Ohio home. It's where his wife, Ellie, is from.

Having been in Ohio several years, Day has become an avid fan of the Buckeye State's sports teams -- particularly the Columbus Bluejackets and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

With the NBA Finals between the Cavs and Golden State Warriors tipping off on Thursday evening, Day was going to show his support for the Lebron James-led Cavs with some special Nike golf shoes for the opening round of the Memorial Tournament (in Dublin, Ohio).

Check out the color-scheme on these custom kicks:

You may remember back in December 2015 when -- sitting court-side with her husband -- Ellie Day was crashed into by James attempting to save a ball from going out of bounds. The blow sent Ellie to the hospital and, thankfully, she was OK. She received this message from James on Twitter after the incident:

Clearly, no hard feelings on behalf of the Days who are hoping to see the Cavs successfully defend the NBA crown.
