Justin Thomas hits walk-off eagle to take clubhouse lead at WGC Mexico Championship

It's been another year of exciting performances at the World Golf Championship Mexico Championship.

On the 72nd hole for Justin Thomas, it couldn't get much more exciting.

From 121 yards out on the par 4 18th and tied for the lead with Phil Mickelson at 14-under par, Thomas hit the shot of the tournament to hole out for eagle and take a two-shot lead into the clubhouse.

Thomas, coming off his win at the Honda Classic, has won seven tournaments in his past 31 starts heading into this week. Should the clubhouse lead hold, the eighth win would easily be the most exciting and dramatic finish in his young career. Even the Golden Bear himself, Jack Nicklaus, was impressed enough to send out a reaction tweet:

And, of course being in Mexico, the incredible shot deserved the futbol announcer treatment. JUSTIN, JUSTIN, JUSTIN!
