It’s a ‘Perfect Day’ to Learn Golf

If you’ve been watching TV lately, whether it’s a golf tournament or maybe even a cooking show, or perhaps you’ve visited some leading websites, then you’ve likely seen new Public Service Announcements (PSAs) for Get Golf Ready.

The PGA unveiled the “Perfect Day” campaign in April with a basic notion -- lessen the intimidation factor of golf. Hey, we understand that golf can be intimidating to new players. So, to make our game more inviting, we’re using two new 30-second PSAs to show you real players enjoying real moments, perfect or otherwise. We intend to chip (yes, we used that term) away at that intimidation because we want to welcome new golfers to our game, and hopefully bring back others who tried golf but haven’t played for a while.

Get Golf Ready has been proven to be the best way to get people excited about golf and that’s what we want you to know. So, yeah, you’ll see the PSAs on Tour events but you’ll also see them pop up on channels such as Food Network, HGTV and CNN.com, websites like Living Social and Bleacher Report, and leading publications including Men’s and Women’s Health, and Fast Company.

In other words, we’re not restricting our message to golf outlets. We want to be where you’re going, just as we want to show you how much fun golf can be as a part of your life.

You can click here to watch the new PSAs. We like what they say about our game. We hope you do, too.

So, Get Golf Ready!
