The PGA of America is inviting local talent from diverse backgrounds to register for PGA JobMatch and be considered for positions that support major championships in 2021.
Individuals may register at PGAImpact.org through April 2, to potentially interview with the PGA’s key vendors for jobs leading up to, during and after the following PGA of America events:
  • 2021 PGA Championship - Kiawah Island (S.C.) Golf Resort (May 17–23)
  • 2021 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship - Southern Hills C.C., Tulsa, Okla. (May 25–30)
  • 2021 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship - Atlanta Athletic Club, Johns Creek, Ga. (June 22–27)
The PGA is working with diverse talent and employment associations in South Carolina, Oklahoma and Georgia, such as Goodwill, Dress for Success, and other local partners, to encourage potential candidates to register for PGA JobMatch.
Job opportunities include part-time and full-time temporary work for pre-, during and post-Championship events from April to July. A variety of positions need to be filled within areas, such as hospitality, concessions, retail, transportation, logistics, construction, janitorial and miscellaneous services. A full listing is featured on PGAImpact.org.
“PGA JobMatch is a way for us to demonstrably give back to each of our unique host communities,” said PGA of America Chief People Officer Sandy Cross. “The PGA is committed to inclusion and diversity, and one of the greatest impacts we can make is to create job and skill development opportunities in our host cities.”
Connections will be made between qualified candidates and key PGA vendors, including American Maintenance, Cornerstone Parking Group, Delaware North, Fone Saver, Levy Restaurants and NMR Events.
All applicants’ registrations must be received by April 2, to be considered. Qualified candidates will be contacted by vendors for the next phase of the hiring process.
