PGA HOPE Chatham - Summer

PGA HOPE is the flagship military program of the PGA of America. PGA HOPE is designed to introduce golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military to support their social, emotional, and physical well being.

Join PGA HOPE alongside your fellow Veterans and Servicemembers. PGA HOPE has served thousands of Veterans and Servicemembers across the United States through one of our 300+ locations.

This introductory program is designed to welcome those of all ages, branches and eras of service, genders, and abilities to the golf course and share in camaraderie and fun together as a group. During this session you will learn the basics from grip to 9 holes of golf from PGA and LPGA Professionals.

• No golf equipment is required. If you do have clubs and/or any specialty equipment, please bring them with you.

• No prior golf experience necessary

• No VA disability rating required

• Veterans do not have to have combat or deployments in order to participate

• All expenses associated with PGA HOPE are covered

Canoe Brook Country Club is a private 36 hole facility and has a few Rules & Regulations that all members and guests are expected to follow while at the club. Please see below:

Golf Attire: Slacks or Bermuda length shorts that are no shorter than mid-thigh. Only shirts with sleeves and collars are allowed. Shirts must be tucked into pants or shorts at all times. Hooded items are permitted as outerwear when weather conditions require. Spikeless shoes include softspikes, golf shoes with rubber treads, and sneakers. Hats and caps must be worn with the bill facing forward. Unacceptable Attire: At no time are jeans, denim or cargo clothing, cut-off shorts, jogging/sweat/warmup or yoga pants, t-shirts/tank tops/mesh shirts/athletic shirts or any undergarment type attire with or without printed slogans, or any army fatigue attire allowed anywhere on the golf courses and practice facilities.

Cellular Phone Policy: Cell phone use is only permitted in the phone rooms, locker rooms and inside your vehicle. Cellular phones are not permitted anywhere else on the Club's property including the driving range or practice areas.

Tipping Policy: Canoe Brook is a non-tipping club. Only independent contractors such as caddies can accept tips or cash. We kindly request that all members & guests please refrain from offering tips in the form of cash gratuities to any other members of the staff.
