PGA HOPE St. George - Session 5

PGA HOPE is the flagship military program of the PGA of America. PGA HOPE is designed to introduce golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military to support their social, emotional, and physical well being.

Join PGA HOPE alongside your fellow Veterans and Active Service members. PGA HOPE has served thousands of Veterans and Service members across the United States through one of our 500+ locations.

This introductory program is designed to welcome those of all ages, branches and eras of service, genders, and abilities to the golf course and share in camaraderie and fun together as a group. During this session you will learn the basics from grip, posture, stance to playing 9 holes of golf on the golf course from PGA Professionals. This in a 7 week instruction program that meets on Saturdays. The final day, 8th session, being a 9 hole Graduation Scramble with other Graduates/Veterans of PGA HOPE.

• No golf equipment is required. If you do not have clubs and/or any specialty equipment, please let us know and we will provide equipment for you to participate. If you have equipment, please bring it with you.

• No prior golf experience necessary

• No VA disability rating required

• Veterans, Active or Reserve personnel do not have to have combat or deployments in order to participate

• Class Instruction, Range Expenses, Green Fees associated with the PGA HOPE classes are covered. Golf Equipment that is provided is no charge to the Veteran.

• Participants MUST be able to attend a minimum of 5 of the 7 instruction sessions AND the Graduation On Course session.

• After the sessions conclude, graduates can participate in the PGA HOPE St. George social activities and other events to keep playing and being social.
