With over 34 years of elite coaching experience, Gary Irby delivers world-class instruction at Perfect Golf. A PGA Class A Member since 1992 and recipient of the PGA Quarter Century Award, Gary has trained under renowned instructors including David Leadbetter and Phil Ritson, and collaborated with legends such as Sam Snead, Dave Stockton, Moe Norman, and Mac O’Grady.

A standout multi-sport athlete at York High School, Gary lettered in football, wrestling, track, and baseball. He was named the Lions Club Best All-Around Athlete in York County and captured a Peninsula District Wrestling Championship. He continued his athletic career at Campbell University, where he played collegiate baseball.

Gary’s expertise combines decades of experience with advanced technology, including Sportsbox AI, OnForm video analysis, AimPoint putting, and TPI-based methodology. He is also one of the first certified dynamic club fitters in the country and a certified custom club builder, bringing a complete performance-based approach to instruction.

Throughout his career, Gary has coached golfers at every level—including professionals, mini-tour players, athletes, entertainers, and amateurs. He has served as Head Professional at International Golf Club / Marriott Grande Pines in Orlando and Director of Instruction at Maximum Performance Golf School, and has also contributed as a collegiate coach and First Tee instructor.

A course record holder (62) at International Golf Club and a lifelong student of the game, Gary combines technical precision, elite experience, and proven results—delivering a premium coaching experience designed to elevate every player’s performance.
