PGA HOPE Pratville
PGA HOPE is the flagship military program of the PGA of America. PGA HOPE is designed to introduce golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military to support their social, emotional, and physical well being. Join PGA HOPE alongside your fellow Veterans and Servicemembers. PGA HOPE has served thousands of Veterans and Servicemembers across the United States through one of our 300+ locations. This introductory program is designed to welcome those of all ages, branches and eras of service, genders, and abilities to the golf course and share in camaraderie and fun together as a group. During this session you will learn the basics from grip to 9 holes of golf from PGA and LPGA Professionals. No golf equipment is required. If you do have clubs and/or any specialty equipment, please bring them with you. Remote coaching offers golfers a convenient and effective way to improve skills from anywhere in the world. With personalized instruction and tailored guidance, this innovative coaching solution bridges the gap between traditional in-person lessons and modern technology, ensuring consistent progress and performance improvement. Remote Coaching Features: Video Swing Analysis: Golfers submit swing videos captured on their phone or tablet for detailed analysis on key areas for improvement and drills to address specific issues. Virtual Sessions: Golfers can send video, text, post and receive one-on-one coaching, focusing on technique, strategy, or answering questions about their game. Personalized Practice Plans& Goals: After an initial assessment, a customized practice routine is developed based on the golfer's goals, strengths, and areas needing improvement. Progress Tracking: Regular assessments and follow-ups track progress over time. Performance metrics, swing videos, and feedback are saved for reference and review. Equipment Consultation: Remote coaching can include advice on club fitting, equipment selection, and adjustments tailored to the golfer’s swing and playing style. Whether you're a beginner looking to develop foundational skills or an experienced golfer seeking to refine your technique, remote coaching provides expert instruction designed to elevate your game.
Titleist Performance Institute Movement Screen
If you don’t assess, it’s just a guess. To achieve an efficient swing, a golfer must first be screened. A proper screen involves an assessment of swing mechanics, biomechanics, physical fitness, movement quality, current health, and injury history. The TPI movement screen is a simple test to quickly evaluate a player’s physical capabilities. The results of that assessment are used to determine how technical elements of the player’s swing could be related to what their body can or cannot do. Once this screen is finished, the results are used to create a plan unique for that golfer. The plan may include fitness training, physical therapy and treatment, coaching of swing mechanics and biomechanics, nutrition, mental strategy or all of the above.
