Merrill Golf Club PGA Jr League

The goal of our program is to teach kids the fundamentals of golf while having fun competing with a teammate in a relaxed atmosphere. The program is for all skill levels from beginners to more advance junior golfers. The season will consist of practices and matches. The practice days will normally be held on Monday afternoons at 2:00 and matches will be on Wednesday afternoons at 2:00. A schedule will be completed and sent out once registration closes and we know how many players have registered and how many teams we will have. We will likely begin at the end of June. There is also a packet each child receives from the PGA of America. In the past it has been 2 team shirts, a hat or visor, a string back pack and a bag tag. fun, two-person scramble format

Private Instruction

Initial Assessment

Introduction and initial assessment. Determine goals and needs for each player.

Range Instruction

Full hour of on range instruction, using video analysis and other instructional aids to identify strengths and weaknesses. This time will be used to fine tune all things from the set up to full swing and get you ready to take your game to the course.
