The Summer Junior Golf Programs at the Francis P Jordan Golf Learning Center at Coonskin Park are now available for registration. Join PGA of America Coach, Brian Knechtly as he teaches your junior golfer all aspects of the game. This program is designed for beginner to intermediate girls and boys ages 8 – 12. Price: $435 Five Days of Camp: Monday – Friday 9:00am – 2:00pm each day Limited to the first 15 players per Session. (must have minimum 9 campers for this week's camp to take place) Instruction covers the following. History of the game Grip Stance/posture Putting Chipping Pitching Irons Driver On-Course Play/ Rules and Etiquette Do campers need to have their own clubs? Campers do not need to own their own clubs, but should bring them if they do have them. Is there a dress code for the golf camps? No, we do not have a dress code for campers. Golf attire is encouraged, but T-shirts, shorts, and sneakers are fine. Hats are encouraged and please sunscreen your camper! Are there discounts for registering more than one family member? Yes, discounts are available. The first camper is regular price and each family member after that gets a refund of $35 issued on the first day of camp. Is lunch provided? Lunch is not provided, campers must bring a snack, lunch and a drink each day.

My Get into Golf program will give you all the information you need to start your journey toward becoming a golfing fan. l will walk you through the basic rules, etiquette and skills you'll need to get started in this game for life. Once you have completed the Get into Golf program, you'll be ready to head out onto the course knowing the key ingredients required to navigate a golf course and get your ball into the hole. You'll also learn how to work your way around a golf course and clubhouse with ease and meet new friends along the way. So whether you're looking for something active to do on weekends or not to make a fool of yourself in your company's social outings, I know that this program provides everything you need! Not only are you going to learn the basics of how to play the game, but we'll help you navigate through the things you might be too embarrassed to ask... What should I wear at the course? PGA Jr. League at Coonskin Park is a fun, team-based golf program designed to introduce and develop young players in a supportive and engaging environment. The program combines expert instruction with exciting on-course competition. Led by PGA Professional, Brian Knechtly, players learn the fundamentals of the game while building confidence, sportsmanship, and a love for golf.
