Perfect Your Putting in Just 3 Strokes with a Drill from PGA Coach Joe Hallett

Published on

Your hands must be working together as a team for you to be the best putter you can be.
PGA Coach Joe Hallett put his expertise on display on PGA Coaching Live at the PGA Championship earlier this year. Hallett has one simple, yet effective, drill that will have your hands in sync in just three-putts.
It's important to determine if one of your hands is dominating the stroke. You can find out by trying to clump three-putts together with the following grips:
  • Left hand only
  • Right hand only
  • Both hands
If you do the drill properly, your three putts should be clumped together. If one of your putts is offline, you've determined your dominant hand and can begin to fix the problem.
