The Ryder Cup is pure spectacle. Golf is the backdrop where patriotism, pressure and theater collide. Every detail matters, right down to what the players wear.
As the U.S. Team takes on Europe at the 2025 Ryder Cup, Ralph Lauren has once again delivered the official apparel scripts for the Americans. The iconic American brand has been the Official Outfitter of the U.S. Ryder Cup Team since 2012 – with 2025 marking the seventh time.
Unlike any given Sunday on the PGA TOUR, where players express their style individually, the Ryder Cup brings a different twist: scripted team fits. Still, there’s room for personality. Players can mix and match pieces, layer according to the weather, and find subtle ways to make the look their own.

So, in continuing our season-long collaboration, we’ve teamed up with PGA of America Golf Professional and golf retail expert Caroline Basarab – two-time national PGA Merchandiser of the Year and Director of Retail at Reynolds Lake Oconee – to break down the best of Team USA’s wardrobe.
From standout designs to clever details and even a few hidden Easter Eggs, here’s what you can expect to see when the red, white and blue step onto center stage at Bethpage Black.
It Starts With the Logo
A new 2025 U.S. Ryder Cup apparel logo makes a bold first impression. By merging the American flag with the “A,” placing a star inside the “S” and stamping the date just below, the design feels sharper and more intentional than past iterations. It carries a modern edge with clean lines and strong angles, almost reminiscent of Olympic branding – fitting, considering golf’s return to the Games nearly a decade ago.

What stands out most is its energy. While the iconic USA crest with the Ryder Cup trophy in the center will still play a prominent role throughout the collection, this version is flashy without being overdone – patriotic without feeling cliché. This full logo in all its glory takes center stage on the signature Rugby Sweatshirt, a statement piece for sure.
In short, it captures the excitement of the event and sets the tone for the team’s look heading into 2025.
Stand Out Outerwear
Fall in New York City is a fashion designer's dream – crisp mornings, golden light bouncing off skyscrapers and the occasional rain shower rolling through. Bethpage has a chance to experience all of it, and that makes outerwear a key player in the script. Ralph Lauren nails the assignment with a full-zip jacket that blends flash and sophistication: bold USA lettering splashed across the back, sharp color blocking that pops on camera and just enough edge to stand out without stealing the show. It’s purposeful, it’s patriotic and polished – all wrapped in red, white and blue.

Few things match the comfort of sliding on a new hoodie that feels like you’ve worn it for years. Ralph Lauren’s waffle knit delivers just that – available in a classic grey stamped with the new logo or in crisp white with the iconic USA Ryder Cup crest. It’s plush, it’s luxe and it’s the kind of layer you’ll never want to take off.
Then there’s the quilted puffer insulation, woven into two long sleeves and a vest. These pieces strike the perfect balance between warmth and fashion – staples of every Northeast autumn. They’re light enough to move with you, sharp enough to turn heads and versatile enough to carry you from brisk mornings to fire-pit nights.
A New York State of Style
This is hands down one of my favorite pieces within the entire Ryder Cup capsule. I’d even go as far as labeling it a collectible.

Ralph Lauren infuses the classic bomber silhouette with a heavy dose of New York flair. Bold, in-your-face artwork and font selections are a nod to the city's creative pulse. The back panel soars to life with an eagle clutching the American flag layered over an outline of New York State, with landmark callouts that make sure NYC and Bethpage Black get their shine.
It’s loud, it’s unapologetic and it’s a masterpiece in motion. Chef’s kiss.
On Course Collection
The core pieces at Bethpage strike a smart balance between tradition and fashion-forward design. Take the v-neck Performance Pique Polo – scheduled to be worn during Wednesday practice rounds and Saturday in competition – with its American flag patch on the left chest. No buttons, just a sharp, elevated collar that feels modern yet timeless.
On Friday, Ralph Lauren will shake up expectations with the Block Stripe Polo, again ditching buttons, but this time for a unique zip placket – a performance detail rarely seen in golf polos. I’m here for it. When a brand dares to be different without tipping over tradition, that’s a win in my book.

Then there are the Thursday and Sunday Performance striped polos – straight down the middle, like a Scottie Scheffler drive. Clean, classic and Americana to the core.
Even the pants respect tradition, with white and blue options that stay classic but feature the new “USA” logo, adding the right dose of energy to fit the modern athlete.
Oh, I almost forgot my favorite Easter Egg. Somewhere hidden on nearly every item is a special message to motivate the team: “United We Stand.”
Show Your Support for Team USA
Some of Ralph Lauren’s best Ryder Cup work won’t be seen on the course – but you’ll spot it all throughout the gallery. Special edition T-shirts, hoodies, women’s pieces and junior golf gear bring the collection to life in fun and unexpected ways.
Favorites? The signature Ralph Lauren bear alongside the infamous Bethpage Black “Warning” sign, designed to either deter or inspire amateurs daring to tackle the “extremely difficult course.” And yes, that iconic New York State artwork from the bomber jacket resurfaces here – to which I say, please and thank you.

Players won’t have to search too hard for support; home Ryder Cups always deliver. Between the whims and vigor of New York sports fans and the sea of red, white and blue, expect one of the most electric atmospheres in all of sports.
When chants of “USA” echo across the course, the 2025 Ryder Cup collection will be everywhere you look.
