Editor's Note: This fall we're taking a look at the fitness, wellness and nutrition behind helping you improve your golf game. From quick exercises to increase your core to tips on how to better fuel your body before your next competitive round, we'll be releasing a series of articles and videos from PGA Coaches around the country to help you with your game.

It doesn't matter if you're a scratch golfer or a high-handicapper, stepping onto the golf course without a proper warm up is a recipe for disaster.
One way to improve your game, lengthen your golf swing and add distance is to make sure your body is properly warmed be and ready for action.
PGA Coach Thor Parrish sent us five stretches that will help you lengthen your golf swing and keep you loose to avoid injuries on the course.
  1. Child's Pose Elevated
  2. Couch Stretch
  3. Inchworm Stretch
  4. Windmills
  5. Half-Kneeling Twist
