Veterans Create Lasting Memories at 2021 PGA HOPE National Golf & Wellness Week

A week of golf instruction, wellness training and community.
Through a partnership between PGA REACH and Congressional Country Club, a group of Veterans who have graduated from their local PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) program, and were nominated by their respective PGA Sections, participated in a four-day program October 14-18th, 2021.
The annual PGA HOPE National Golf & Wellness Week provides advanced golf instruction and wellness training to those selected.
Each participating Veteran received a specially designed golf and wellness tool kit that includes golf training tips and wellness exercises designed to promote and sustain a healthy and active lifestyle.

Participants were also able to receive hands-on-coaching from PGA Professionals.
World Golf Hall of famer, 3-time Major Champion and Vietnam Veteran Larry Nelson served as a special guest on-site during the program. 
They were able to visit the United States Capitol:
The final day included a golf event where the Veterans teed it up with PGA Professionals, participating dignitaries and corporate partners.
Now that they've returned to their home markets, those who participated will serve as PGA HOPE Ambassadors for in their communities.
